Skip Shefield got injured in a non-televised event in Hawaii when he teamed with David Ottunga and faced the WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty.Skip Sheffield will be out of action for sometime. The headcount of the Nexus has come down from eight to five.
Daniel Bryan was the first to go, the next was Darren Young. We will have to wait and see if Sheffield's injury will prompt the Nexus to welcome back Darren Young.
Two things are for sure. One, Skip Sheffield's size and dominance that contributed a lot to the portrayal of the Nexus as a very powerful group will be missed. Two, there will changes in the originally planned storylines for better or worse.
