CM Punk Retains WWE Championship

The main event of the November 28 edition of WWE Raw was the title match between CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio. Halfway through WWE Raw, John Laurinaitis, David Otunga, and Alberto Del Rio were seen planning on how to take the WWE Championship away from CM Punk. David Otunga suggests that if Alberto Del Rio can get CM Punk to get intentionally disqualified, CM Punk can be stripped of the WWE Championship.

Cena Loses Title Match, Miz, Truth Invade WWE Again

John Cena faced Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship last night at a WWE Raw live event. John Cena lost. Nobody expects championships, especially the WWE Championship, to change hands at a live events - they are expected to change hands on live TV. Anyway, the highlight of the night was the invasion by R-Truth and The Miz. The invaders got a big ovasion.

WWE Raw started with the WWE Championship match between Rey Mysterio and The Miz. Rey Mysterio wins the match and becomes the WWE Champion. After the match, The Miz attacks Rey Mysterio. Alberto Del Rio, who tried to cash in his Money In The Bank contract at Money In The Bank pay-per-view, repeated the same thing. However, before Alberto could cash in his Money In The Bank contract, Rey Mysterio attacks him and keeps his title reign intact.

CM Punk, as per WWE's storylines, has retired from the WWE with the WWE Championship. CM Punk can now do whatever he wants with the WWE Championship. He can walk into another wrestling show, he can set up his own wrestling show and make the WWE title his. OR, he can retire with the money that he made. Let's step out of the WWE storylines and see what's in store for CM Punk and the WWE Championship.

WWE Survivor Series 2010

WWE Survivor Series 2010 will be held on November 21, 2010 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The event has already generated a lot of interest and is expected to be a blockbuster. The biggest match of the night will undoubtedly be Wade Barrett Vs Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. We've already learnt on Monday Night Raw that John Cena will be the special guest referee for the main event at Survivor Series.

The Night of New Champions

The Night of Champions marked the beginning of four new championship reigns. Randy Orton who is in the prime of his career won the WWE Championship again at the same arena where he won his first WWE title. Dashing Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre became the tag team champions defeating The Hart Dynasty, who were hardly seen dominating as Tag Team Champions.

In what could be labelled a really electrifying match, the humble yet entertaining Daniel Bryan defeated his former NXT Pro and Mr Money In The Bank The Miz to become the new United States Champion. How will The Miz react? Does The Miz have an explanation or an excuse to justify his loss? The WWE Universe will also want to hear from Michael Cole.

Michelle McCool defeated Melina in a lumberjill match to bring the WWE Unified Divas Championship to Laycool. The wife of the Undertaker along with Layla celebrated as the new Unified Divas co-Champions!

A Unique Pay-per-view

The pay-per-view Fatal 4-Way is certainly going to be unique in more ways than one. It is one of the rarest instance when before a pay-per-view, the fans are eager to know more about things other than the fate of the championships on the line. It does not happen often.

Yes, the fans do want Rey Mysterio or the Big Show to win the World Heavyweight Chammpionship and John Cena to retain or Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship. But that is not all that the WWE Universe wants. The WWE Universe wants to know who attacked the Undertaker and why. They want to know if the Season One WWE NXT Rookies will show up during the Fatal 4-Way. The rookies will show up, but who will deal with them?

Will it be Mr. McMahon? Will the most powerful entity in the WWE show up and teach the Rookies a lesson? Vince McMahon might even go on to be in charge of Raw for a few weeks, who knows? The WWE Universe also wants to know why Vince McMahon is strangely affectionate towards Drew McIntyre. Will Theodore Long or Vince McMahon do something at Fatal 4-Way that will affect Drew's career? We will have to wait to know the answers. But one thing is sure, Fatal 4-Way is certainly going to be fatal, unique and not easy to forget.

No Heavyweights for the Heavyweight Championship

The matches surrounding the two most talked-about championships - the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship - in the WWE are going to be exciting. The amusing thing is that there are no heavyweights in contention for the World Heavyweight Championship in Smackdown.

None of the three people involved - Edge, CM Punk and Jeff Hardy - could be classified as a heavyweight. Umaga, certainly a super-heavyweight, would have been involved had he been in the WWE.

The fate of the WWE Championship, currently held by the zero-fat, muscular animal, however, is in the hands of "big,tough guys". The four-way fatal match scheduled for Monday is going to be exciting.

Nobody is sure if Batista would make an appearance on the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw. The return of Randy Orton this soon would certainly evoke suprise.

There is a lot of speculation about some teaming up in the initial stages of the match. But as we all know, in four-way fatals, it is "every man for himself".

There will be new contenders

Irrespective of who wins the match between Randy Orton and Batista at Extreme Rules, there will be new people demanding to be number one contender after Extreme Rules. Without question, John Cena will be one among them. And, so will be the Big Show.

We shouldn't forget that the former champion Triple H hasn't executed his rematch clause yet. Hence, as soon as Hunter returns he will face the WWE Champion. Until then, the fate of the WWE Championship will dangle between, John Cena, The Big Show, Batista and Randy Orton.

Only if we forget that CM Punk has the Money in the Bank!

Who will face Triple H at Cyber Sunday?

Who will face Triple H at Cyber Sunday will be decided by the WWE Universe. The fans beleive that Triple H will be able to defend the championship successfully in whatever match he is put in at Cyber Sunday.

The fans are also eager to see somethign else - Triple H beating up Vladimir Koslov. Vladimir Koslov hasn't faced Triple H in a match so far and has been attacking people from behind. The WWE fans are no doubt eager to see Vladimir's undefeated streak being ended by Triple H.

There is no doubt that Jeff Hardy is a bigger fans' favourite than Vladimir. But Vladimir might end up facing the King of Kings at Cyber Sunday.
