John Cena went on to prove to the world that he will fight for what he believes in, that he will take pops and boos in his stride, that he will be loyal to the Cenation. Rowdy Roddy Piper opened WWE Raw in the Piper's Pit. John Cena was the special guest. Piper told Cena that Cena was losing it, that he needs to listen to the boos. John Cena, however, was reluctant to admit that the boos were putting pressure on him.
Piper said that John Cena needs to suck it up to the fans to stay the face of the WWE. John Cena was calm and composed all the time. Frustrated, Rowdy Roddy Piper slaps John Cena in the face. Cena doesn't return the favor and leaves the ring. John Cena has officially risen above hate.
