A former WWE insider has reportedly said that WWE's plans for Brodus Clay was originally to make him the bodyguard of Ted DiBiase and develop the storylines from there. However, the WWE later decided to have Virgil play the bodyguard of Ted DiBiase. Brodus Clay was sent to WWE NXT. As we know, Brodus Clay is now the "little friend" of Alberto Del Rio.
