This week's edition of WWE Smackdown was marked by two title matches - the Intercontinental Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. Booker T lost to Cody Rhodes who retained the Intercontinental Championship. Big Show lost to Daniel Bryan by disqualification.
Danile Bryan is the not the kind of man who gets himself disqualified. It was all because of Mark Henry that the match ended the way it did. Mark Henry was the special guest commentator for WWE Smackdown's main event. In the heat of the moment, Daniel Bryan steps out of the ring to talk trash to Mark Henry. Henry attacks Daniel Bryan causing a disqualification. Danile Bryan wins the match and retains the title.
Sheamus was double-teamed by Wade Barrett and Jinder Mahal. Sheamus would be playing the storylines that were orginally written for the now injured Randy Orton.
Santino Marella is having the time of his life as he defeated Drew McIntyre with a cobra. It is said that if Drew McIntyre loses the match next week, he will be fired!
