Word has it that the WWE was originally planning to have Randy Orton win the Royal Rumble 2012. However, Randy Orton is now injured. The WWE is now considering Chris Jericho replace Randy Orton as the winner of this year's Royal Rumble.
There were reports earlier that Chris Jericho would main event Wrestlemania with CM Punk. The storyline would be pretty straightforward if Chris Jericho wins the Royal Rumble match.
