Main event storylines first. Randy Orton Vs Wade Barrett in a Falls Count Anywhere match was Smackdown's main event. The fight goes backstage and the two end up fighting inside the elevator. Wade Barrett then throws Randy Orton down a flight of stairs before Smackdown goes off the air. It is reported that Randy Orton is genuinely injured.
Big Show Defeats David Otunga
When Daniel Bryan was in the ring cutting a promo, he is interrupted by the Big Show who says that giants like him don't need help mentioning the save Daniel Bryan made on WWE Raw. Teddy Long comes out to announce a match between the Big Show and David Otunga who will have Mark Henry in his corner.
During the match, Bryan attacks Mark Henry with the World Heavyweight Championship belt sending Henry backstage. Big Show wins the match.
Booker T gets help from Goldust
Goldust is Cody Rhodes's half-brother. Booker T opened WWE Smackdown only to be interrupted by Cody Rhodes. Cody insults the crowd, insults Booker T. Goldust comes to the rescue and admonishes Cody Rhodes for insulting a legend. Booker T challenges Cody Rhodes for a Intercontinental Championship rematch on next week's WWE Smackdown and leaves the ring when Cody attacks Goldust. Booker T returns to save Goldust. Don't miss Goldust who'd be seen in a suit and with no makeup.
Sheamus talks to Hornswoggle about the Royal Rumble
Sheamus is in the ring talking about how he will win the Royal Rumble. Hornswoggle interrupts. Hornswoggle tells Sheamus that he will win the Royal Rumble. Heath Slater interrupts. Sheamus throws Heath Slater over the top rope. Later, Sheamus defeated Heath Slater in a match.
