It was revealed on WWE Raw that the Rock and John Cena will team up to face R-Truth and The Miz at Survivor Series. It was almost obvious that John Cena and the Rock will team up sometime. Since the Rock was scheduled to appear at Survivor Series, the news doesn't come as a surprise. The Rock is also expected to wrestle at the Royal Rumble.
It was John Cena who on WWE Raw announced that his tag team partner at Survivor Series will be The Rock. The announcement came after WWE Raw's acting general manager John Laurinaitis gave Cena the right to pick a tag team partner of his choosing at Survivor Series.
John Cena faced The Miz and R-Truth in a handicap match on WWE Raw. The match was supposed to be a tag team match. However, The Miz and R-Truth took out Cena's tag team partner Zack Ryder making it a handicap match.
