WWE Twitter Storylines Are The New Trend

WWE's Creative department has always found a way to keep evolving newer and newer storylines. New factors, new aspects are constantly brought into the WWE storylines. The storylines are mostly around the things that we see around at the current time. Limits and boundaries are constantly pushed. What you see regularly on TV, you know, they are scripted. Now, the WWE pushes the limit and does something that you think is real.

There was a point in time people believed that the "injuries" were real. Then, the WWE started "firing" superstars, which again looked real. As people realize that these aspects of WWE Storylines are scripted, the WWE comes up with something new. Shawn Michaels has, in a storylines, been JBL's employee.

Social media is everybody's craze today. The WWE's presence exists in all social media - Twitter, Facebook, Youtube. Some of you might be aware that the WWE made an attempt to have a social media of its own and named itself the WWE Universe.

WWE's writers are making good use of social media like Twitter to generate good storylines. When CM Punk started saying bad things about the WWE, everybody thought it was real, that CM Punk is disgruntled. Now, it is apparent that CM Punk's statements were merely part of an intelligent storyline. WWE's storylines have moved to territories outside the squared circle, territories outside the WWE itself to the public arena.  WWE's writers making it difficult for people to differentiate what is real and what is scripted is actually good for the WWE. The biggest question now is: Is CM Punk's contract really expiring July 17?
