WWE Smackdown kicks off with Triple H talking about the future of the WWE when he is interrupted by Christain. Christain talks about how the WWE has been unfair to him and complains about a lot of things including Randy Orton. They are now interrupted by R-Truth. A funny interaction ensues. Triple H makes two matches - Christain Vs Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred Title Match at Summerslam and Christain Vs John Morrison on WWE Smackdown.
Later the same night, Christain defeats John Morrison. Backstage, Teddy Long is thanking Triple H for coming to WWE Smackdown. Zack Ryder is around. Zack Ryder informs Triple H and Teddy Long that he is the "internet champion". Triple H makes Zack Ryder Teddy Long's assistant!
Wade Barrett is in the ring talking about how Daniel Bryan cheated him of the Money In The Bank contract. Daniel Bryan comes out and they brawl.
Mark Henry defeats Bobby Heller. Sheamus comes out after the match and attacks Mark Henry. Sheamus gets a very positive response from the crowd. Sheamus turns face.
Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga defeated The Uso Brothers to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. Zack Ryder makes a handicap match between Ezekiel Jackson and the team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Ezekiel Jackson loses the match.
Main event Randy Orton Vs R-Truth. R-Truth repeats what Christain did to Randy Orton at Money In The Bank; he spits on Randy's face. Randy Orton attacks R-Truth with a chair, gets disqualified, and loses the match.
