Vince McMahon, chairman of the WWE, has said that CM Punk has been suspended indefinitely for his remarks on WWE Raw. CM Punk gave a long speech on WWE Raw about how the WWE has not been promoting him well. He said that he doesn't hate John Cena, but hates the idea that John Cena is the best. CM Punk's speech lasted six minutes. As soon as CM Punk was about to tell a personal story about Vince McMahon when he got the mic cut and the screen went dark.
From the outside it appears like CM Punk's speech and the subsequent suspension are not part of the storylines planned. However, CM Punk's anti-WWE and anti-Vince McMahon remarks might be very well part of the WWE storylines. either way, the episode has generated mroe interest in the developments. Curiously enough, CM Punk mentioned New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor while leaving out TNA, which prompts one to think that CM Punk's speech was scripted by WWE's creative team.
