The match was originally a one-on-one match between John Cena and TheMiz. Alex Riley interferes during the match. Sin Cara, who beat Alex Riley in a match earlier the same night, rushes out to save John Cena. The Anonymous Raw GM seizes the opportunity and makes the main event a tag team match.
