The Nexus is all set to invade Smackdown this Friday night. Members of the nexus excluding Wade Barrett, and hopefully John Cena, would invade Smackdown this week. They would interrupt the match between Edge and Alberto Del Rio. David Ottunga plays the leader of the Nexus. He announces that the Nexus are taking over Smackdown. However, Kane, Rey Mysterio, and The Big Show interrupt them. This would lead to a Team Nexus Vs Team Smackdown main event.Team Smackdown would win the main event and Edge would be the hero of the night and Alberto Del Rio the traitor. It would be interesting to see how this plot would morph into a storylines leading to Survivor Series. The bringing of the Nexus to Smackdown is also part of the ongoing attempts to revive the show.
