King Of The Ring Tournament Update

WWE has brought back the King of the Ring tournament. Last Monday Night Raw, Sheamus, John Morrison, Ezekiel Jackson, and Daniel Bryan won the qualifying matches. The tournament will continue on Friday Night Smackdown. A new King of the Ring is expected to be crowned in a special three-hour episode of Monday Night Raw. On Smackdown the qualifying matches for the King of the Ring tournament will be Alberto Del Rio Vs Big Show, Drew McIntyre Vs MVP, Kofi Kingston Vs Jack Swagger, and Cody Rhodes Vs Rey Mysterio.

Alberto Del Rio would win the match thanks to outside interference by Ricardo Rodriguez. Drew McIntyre would qualify beating MVP and Kofi Kingston would beat Jack Swagger. Cody Rhodes would qualify beating Rey Mysterio as a result of an interference by Alberto Del Rio.

There are rumours circulating in the internet that certain superstars - mostly Sheamus - would become the King of the Ring. However, nothing has been confirmed. It is also being said that the King of the Ring tournament final will coincide with the return of the King of Kings Triple H.
