The Rated-R Superstar Edge would face World Heavyweight Champion Kane for a title match at Survivor Series. This Friday Night Smackdown's opening segment would be one with utter chaos. Alberto Del Rio would interrupt Kane and Paul Bearer celebrating their victory over the Undertaker. Rey Mysterio would join the chaos, followed by Edge. Alberto Del Rio, Edge and Rey Mysterio wants to be the number one contender. Theodore Long puts them in a triple-threat match. The Ultimate Opportunist Edge would defeat Rey and Alberto to become the new number one contender. It looks like Edge is out of the Smackdown Vs Raw storyline for the time being. There is no update on the return of the Undertaker. However, there are speculations about the return of Brock Lesnar to the WWE. If the WWE is planning a Brock Vs Taker storyline, Brock would either be the man behind the Nexus or the anonymous general manager. Nothing is confirmed as yet, however.
