And his character was defined by himself once while on the show when he hinted that he'd be hated now, but everyone would realise later that what he said were facts.

That is exactly what his character is. His words are hard to digest initially.

Unlike heels like Randy Orton or Edge who talk to get things done, Y2J talks to try and convey facts that most people dislike.

It will take a lot of time for the WWE fans to like Chris Jericho. Until then, we will have to wait.
