JBL defeated Tommy Dreamer in a way that made Tommy look like an underdog. Once the match was over, JBL sat in the middle of the ring and said he'd continue to sit there until he was made the number one contender. Now, everybody knew things were getting interesting.
Then arrived Randy, who confronted JBL. The fans liked Randy for confronting someone they hated.
The JBL - Randy 'word-war' was soon interrupted by the Glamerella. One couldn't help admiring the courage of Santino Marella when he challenged the credibility of Orton stright to the face. Santino making fun of Orton?? The fans thought, "This guy is more courageous than we thought he was". After all, Santino wouldn't survive a single blow from Orton. Let alone Orton, he wouldn't survive one blow from his own girlfriend!
In a matter of minutes, the fans started liking JBL as John used the words, "Mr and Mrs Phoenix". The fans thought again, "JBL is a cool guy. DEspite being tough and all that, he has a great sense of humour".
Finally arrived Batista. And Batista, was at his humourous best. And the arrival of Batista saw the crowd behind their favourite, The Animal.
How fast emotions change!
