Why Does TNA Fail?

TNA has the most high-value pro-wrestling superstars than any other wrestling company, they have some of the best writers like ERic Bischoff and Paul Heyman who have revolutionized how wrestling storylines are written, they do not have to be scared of being "bought out" by the WWE. However, week after week, TNA continues to remain second to the WWE. What could be the reason?

One of the reasons that first come to mind : TNA cannot match the presence the WWE has. The developmental territories, the global presence etc the WWE has cannot be matched by TNA at this point of time.

TNA nevertheless is watched by a global audience, but the viewership remains second to the WWE despite the fact that most former WWE Superstars are currently in TNA.The real reason why TNA is a mere second thought is that TNA tries too hard to be different from the WWE and evens says that. This makes TNA look like a spin-off from the WWE that is trying their best to look different and, as a result, better.

TNA tries hard to make very aspect of its shows different from the WWE - the ramp, the ring, the entrance, the superstars, the title belts everything. It broke the norms in the professional wrestling industry, which is good. But being different is not being better. To be successful, TNA has to go original, shed its primal instinct to be merely different from the WWE. If the masters of the craft in TNA can simply implement their original ideas, TNA would not longer be a second thought.
