The Slammy Awards will be live tomorrow on Monday Night Raw. Every fan, every observer is coming up with a name for the Superstar of the Year. JR says that the Superstar of the Year will be CM Punk. He says that CM Punk will win the Slammy Awards hands down.
It is true that when CM Punk won the WWE Championship and walked with it out of the WWE, he made news worldwide. Everybody started talking about it. However, has CM Punk's character been able to sustain the interest it generated. The answer is a disappointing no.
Like it or not, Mark Henry has made an impact this year. John Cena made impact by getting booed and still standing tall, rising above hate. The Superstar of the Year will not be Alberto Del Rio, The Miz or Randy Orton. Randy Orton has a lot of fans, but he has had better years than 2011.
Alberto Del Rio has been on a ride downhill this year. The Miz did make an impact, but people are begining to forget about it now.
