What Should The WWE Do To Promote The Tag Team Division?

Triple H is doing everything he can to promote WWE's tag team division. The WWE Creative also believes that giving a push to its tag team division can help the company at a time when the storylines are under heavy criticism. The WWE, therefore, is full of tag teams. Dolph ziggler and Jack Swagger, The Miz and R-Truth, Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston, The Rock and John Cena, the list goes on.

There are more tag teams in the making. It is likely that Triple H and Kevin Nash will form factions of their own resulting in more tag team action. Is the WWE trying to promote its tag teams a boon or a bane? While promoting the tag team division, one should keep in mind not to take away the top superstars away from main event storylines.

Tag teams are like the Cruiserweight section that once existed on WWE Smackdown. The fans do enjoy it, but they are not the main event. The WWE should, instead of tagging main event superstars, bring in more middle-tier superstars into the tag team division. This will leave some top superstars with a lot of time on their hands. Which is good because they can be made part of main event storylines. As the number of top superstars in one main event storyline rises, the interest in the storyline rises too.

Instead of the main event having mere one-on-one storylines, the WWE can have major superstars playing in slightly more complicated, fast-paced storylines. The problem of the dearth of good talent will also be resolved as more newer superstars get to perform in the tag team division resulting in the rse of new talents.
